Sell your business without a broker. The entire M&A process online – from anonymous teaser to signing.
Firmatch guides you step by step: anonymous profile, NDA, valuation, offer, due diligence and contract. Buyers are matched automatically from the investor database. You pay 1% only once the deal completes.
Team estimates based on data from Statistics Poland (GUS) and the KRS, and on reports on family business succession. EBITDA multiples of 3.0× (micro) and 4.0× (small), assuming no debt.
Deals that fall between two stools: too small for advisers, too serious for classified-ad sites
Businesses worth anywhere from a few hundred thousand to a dozen or so million złoty currently have nowhere in Poland to go through the whole sale process safely. Firmatch combines a deal-matching board with process software that until now was only available on large transactions.
Advisers: 3–10% of the value plus an upfront retainer
M&A boutiques and the Big Four rarely go below a few million złoty. For a micro business, the cost of the process can exceed 20% of the sale price.
Classified-ad sites: noise and no confidentiality
A ‘business for sale’ ad is seen by employees, customers and competitors alike. No vetting of listings, no verification of buyers and no support after the first contact.
The process takes 6–18 months and often falls apart
A new generation of buyers expects a digital-first process: data rather than promises, and asynchronous communication rather than phone calls and meetings at a law firm.
Our answer
One process, one place: anonymous teaser, NDA and e-signature, a valuation based on KRS data, an offer builder, a virtual data room and due diligence carried out by AI agents. No advisory, no brokers, and a fee only on success.
A qualitative map: existing players cluster in three corners. The top right – full process and full self-service – remains empty.
Anonymous teasers, verified data, curated listings
Every profile is pre-screened and its data quality checked. You see the sector, region, financial results and price range. You unlock the company name and full data after signing an NDA – in one click, with no scans to send.
Buyers with a mandate, not casual browsers
Funds consolidating fragmented sectors, strategic investors, search funds and managers moving on from corporate careers. Each one passes KYC checks and confirms their source of funding. The platform automatically matches new teasers to mandates – prospecting happens in the background.
What is your business worth? An indicative valuation in 60 seconds
Answer eight questions about the finances and nature of your business, and the platform will calculate a value range using the multiples method, adjusted for the typical risks of small businesses. You’ll get the result and a report once you create a free account – every valuation feeds our transaction database, bringing the multiples ever closer to real prices in the Polish market.
- 1 About the business
- 2 Contact details
- 3 Valuation
- Value range: minimum, average and maximum, benchmarked against deals in your sector
- The multiple with a list of adjustments – what raises and what lowers your business’s value
- Tips on what to put in order before a sale, and the option to list your business anonymously
Where do the multiples come from?
| Sector | Min multiple | Max multiple | Notes |
|---|
Indicative ranges of profit-before-tax multiples (including the owner’s pay) for Polish micro and small businesses, based on the team’s market observations and data from comparable transactions. The valuation assumes a cash-free, debt-free acquisition, is for information only and does not constitute investment advice or an offer.
Check the company in the KRS before you talk to the owner
Once the NDA is signed, the platform automatically pulls financial statements from the KRS (National Court Register) and entries from the Court and Commercial Gazette (MSiG), the National Debtor Register (KRZ) and the Central Register of Beneficial Owners (CRBR). Teaser data is compared with the register, so any discrepancies show up straight away.
Prototype: whatever number you enter, we show a sample report for a fictitious company.
Nine steps from intent to signing – all in one place
The platform guides both parties through a structured deal process. Every step has its own wizard, documents and checklist. Nothing gets lost in email threads, and both sides always know what stage the deal has reached.
Due diligence that takes days, not weeks
Specialised AI agents read the documents in the virtual data room, check them against a checklist of typical small-business risks and prepare a report with red flags and recommendations for the contract. One rule applies: AI flags, people decide.
Confidentiality and verification built into every step
‘We don’t give advice. We provide the tools that until now only large deals had – and we make sure no step gets skipped.’
Nothing up front. 1% from each party on completion
The profile, teaser, NDA, valuation and access to the investor database are free. We charge a success fee only when money changes hands. Advisers in Poland typically charge 3–10% plus an upfront fee.

Frequently asked questions from owners and buyers
Will my employees, customers or competitors find out about the sale?
No. Only an anonymous teaser is publicly visible, and a curator checks that it can’t be used to identify you. The name, KRS number and documents are visible only to a verified buyer who has signed an NDA – and you decide who gets access.
What kinds of businesses does the platform handle?
Businesses from across the economy – manufacturing, trade, services, healthcare, transport, IT – worth from a few hundred thousand to a dozen or so million złoty. Initially, share deals in limited liability companies (sp. z o.o.), as well as sales of an organised part of an enterprise.
Does the platform replace a lawyer and an adviser?
We don’t provide advisory or legal services. The platform provides the tools: document builders, a data room and AI analysis with risk flags. The parties make the decisions, and at any point you can bring your own lawyer or accountant into the process – they get access to the same data.
How long does a deal take?
Traditionally 6–18 months. A structured process, ready-made templates and automated DD can cut that to 3–6 months. The biggest time savings come at the NDA, data preparation and due diligence stages.
How do you verify buyers?
Every buyer goes through identity checks (KYC/AML), confirms their source of funding and describes their investment mandate. The seller sees the buyer’s profile before accepting the NDA request.
How much does it cost and when do I pay?
Registration, the profile, teaser, valuation, NDA and the basic data room are free. The success fee is 1% from the seller and 1% from the buyer, payable on completion.
When will the platform be available?
We’re preparing a pilot with a first group of sellers and investors. Leave your email address and we’ll be in touch with an invitation – early users will get access to the full version with no data room fees.
